Wireless Oscilloscope Station

This is a draft post.

February 2021

Here’s a nifty tool called BitScope Micro, it’s a small but powerful mixed signal scope – it includes waveform and pattern generator and logic analyzer. It is somewhat open source, the manufacturer published some of the schematics here.

I’m thinking of making a wireless oscilloscope station where BitScope software runs on my laptop, and it speaks to the scope over a wireless network. It does not seem too complex to architect as BitScope - the company - designed the hardware and software in such a way that allows for decoupling of the data acquisition hardware and the analysis software.
